Amit has over 25 years of Product Engineering exposure towards SaaS, Collaboration and Smart Endpoint Devices. He has two patents in his name. He has a customer centric mindset and enjoys bootstrapping and scaling innovative ideas through high performing teams with a culture-first mindset. Having worked in top silicon valley tech companies of various scales like Cisco, Intel, Polycom and Dialpad, he has a very deep understanding of nuances and pitfalls of running product innovation focused global centers of excellence (GCoEs) in India.

In the last role, Amit was Country Manager and VP Engineering for Dialpad, where he scaled India center from 0 to 125 employees with strong focus on product ownership and new platform development. Before Dialpad, Amit was General Manager and VP Engineering for Polycom responsible for delivering two core products from India that resulted in revenue of $600M as well as operational responsibility of team size of 350 across two cities in India.

Amit has been associated with the startup ecosystem for a decade as an Angel Investor as well playing advisory roles in early stage VC firms. He was Awarded Top 10 IIM Bangalore Leaders for 2021.

In his free time, Amit loves to perfect the art of making the perfect cup of coffee at home, listening to sufi music or teaching python to kids . Amit has graduated from BITS, Pilani and finished his Executive Management Program from IIM, Bangalore.
